ORLANDO, FL – Starting Monday, August 30, 2021, the Florida Department of Health in Orange County will transition the coordination and operation of mobile COVID-19 vaccination outreach events in Orange County to partners.

To find when and where the vaccination events occur in Orange County, follow the state’s Department of Health’s Twitter page @HealthyFla (#GetVaxedFL).

“This transition is due to the need to redirect Florida Department of Health in Orange County resources to create a safe environment for Orange County Public Schools with contact tracing and testing efforts,” said Dr. Raul Pino, Health Officer for the Florida Department of Health in Orange County.

The transition of mobile COVID-19 vaccination services to partners is a collaborative effort. Florida Department of Health in Orange County staff will assist with the transition to ensure it is successful.
