Last 3 Days of the School Immunizations for OCPS Kindergarteners and 7th Graders

ORLANDO, FL – Today (July 29), tomorrow (July 30), and next Saturday, August 6, 2022, are the last three (3) days of the Florida Department of Health in Orange County’s free school immunizations for Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) children entering kindergarten and 11-year-old students needing their required 7th Grade Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis immunization (TDAP).

No appointment is needed but a parent/guardian with a valid ID is required to accompany their child along with their completed consent forms. The Vaccine and TDAP consent forms can be found on the OCPS website: https://www.ocps.net/.

 

Immunizations will follow this schedule:

Friday, July 29, 2022

  • Westridge Middle School, 3800 W Oak Ridge Road, Orlando, FL 32809 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Corner Lake Middle School, 1700 Chuluota Road, Orlando, FL 32820 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

 Saturday, July 30, 2022

  • Meadowbrook Middle School, 6000 North Lane, Orlando, FL 32808 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

 Saturday, August 6, 2022

  • OCPS Academic Center for Excellence (ACE), 701 W Livingston St., Orlando, FL 32805 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

 Know before you go:

  • Bring your child’s most recent shot record
  • Bring child’s birth certificate, passport, or other government issued ID
  • Parent/guardian must bring their ID and attend event with child  
  • Parent/guardian consent is required  
  • Bring your own water and snacks
  • No appointment needed
  • No College vaccines
  • No cost

 

Background

The state of Florida requires students to have all of their required immunizations before school starts, which includes children entering kindergarten, and the required update before a child enters 7th grade.
