DOH-Orange Expands Environmental Public Health Services with a New Ocoee Office

Orlando, Fla. – To better serve and accommodate our growing community, the Florida Department of Health in Orange County’s (DOH-Orange) Environmental Public Health division is expanding with a new location.

Beginning August 3, the division will officially open its new office at 475 Story Road, Suite 1, Ocoee, FL 34761. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Ocoee office will allow residents to conveniently submit and process applications for the following Environmental Public Health programs:

Onsite sewage disposal
Biomedical waste program
Body piercing
Drinking water
Food hygiene
Group care facilities
Indoor air quality
Farmworker housing
Mobile home parks
Pools and spas
Rabies surveillance
Sanitary nuisances
Tanning facilities
Tattoo establishment and artists

This expansion underscores DOH-Orange’s commitment to supporting a safe and healthy environment for all Orange County residents.
