  • Interested in Volunteering?

Volunteers are needed for many programs and services at various locations throughout Orange County. If you would like to become a volunteer with our agency please fill out the Volunteer Application.

The following are requirements for all Interns and Volunteers:

  • All prospective volunteers are asked to fill out a Volunteer Services Application. Once the application is received, it will be reviewed by our Volunteer Coordinator and you will be notified of its status.
  • If the area or program you prefer is accepting volunteers, you may be contacted for an interview to ensure proper placement.
  • Background screening is required for volunteers who are placed in programs within the agency. If you are accepted as a volunteer, you will be scheduled for an appointment to be fingerprinted.
  • All volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation and complete online trainings.
  • All volunteers are required to report their time to the Volunteer Coordinator.

The following are additional requirements for medical professional volunteers:

  • A copy of your resume/CV must be emailed to the Volunteer Coordinator in addition to the submission of the online application.
  • Proof of your active medical license must be provided for interview.
  • Proof of your current CPR certification must be provided for interview.

Please ensure your college/university has an Affiliation Agreement before applying. 

  • All prospective interns must fill out an application to be considered. Once the application is received and reviewed, you may be contacted for an interview if space is available.
  • A Level 2 Background screening/fingerprinting is required for all interns. You will be contacted to schedule an appointment if needed.
  • All interns must attend an orientation and complete the required training before they report to their new assignments.
  • All interns are required to report their time to the Volunteer Coordinator.
