Florida Department of Health in Orange County

  • HIV 500 (4 hours) - Basic HIV/AIDS Training

    • Required for all new Florida Department of Health (FDOH) employees, as well as staff and volunteers of registered testing sites who will be conducting HIV counseling/testing/linkage services.  HIV 500 Class is available online through Florida TRAIN. You must bring your certificate of completion from the HIV 500 class prior to attending the HIV 501 class.
  • HIV 501 (2 days) – Intermediate HIV/AIDS Training

    • Required for all employees of FDOH- as well as staff and volunteers of registered testing sites who will be conducting HIV counseling/testing/linkage services.  The HIV 501 class is available online through Florida TRAIN. Once you have completed that you need to printout both the 500 and 501 certificates and bring it with you to the 3 day face to face training..
  • HIV 501 Update

    • Annually required for all 501 certified staff and volunteers of FDOH and community-based registered testing sites that are actively conducting HIV CTLR services.
