Violence and Injury Prevention
This program oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of a spectrum of prevention activities. These include critical areas such as water safety/drowning prevention, infant mortality prevention (safe sleep), the Florida Healthy Baby Initiative, human trafficking, domestic and sexual violence, suicide prevention, healthy aging, and general safety encompassing motor vehicle safety, brain injuries, and opioid overdoses.
