ORLANDO, FL – If you are looking for a fun, healthy event for the entire family, then please join us on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the O-Town Spring Fest.

Hosted by the Florida Department of Health in Orange County’s Office of Community Health, the O-Town Spring Fest will be held at Lake Lorna Doone Park, 1519 W. Church Street in Orlando.

This free, all ages event is your chance to enjoy a delightful Saturday afternoon featuring music, dance contests, workshops and health screenings while celebrating National Minority Health Month. In addition, there will be a kids zone, a voter registration table, Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) tests for men, mammograms for women between the age 50-64 (appointment required), COVID-19 vaccinations and free food giveaways while supplies last.

Kicking off the celebration will be a dynamic performance by Young Blacks in Action’s (YBA) Community Band and Dancettes. If that is not enough, then don’t miss your chance to win a $50 gas gift card, one raffle every hour of the event.

The annual National Minority Health Month celebration highlights the important role individuals and organizations can play in helping to reduce health disparities and improve the health of racial and ethnic minority and American Indian/Alaska Native communities.
