ORLANDO, FL – In partnership with Orange County Public Schools (OCPS), the Florida Department of Health in Orange County will provide free school immunizations for OCPS children entering kindergarten and 11-year-old students needing their required 7^th Grade Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis immunization (TDAP).

The immunization events start next week, and the dates and locations are listed below. No appointment is needed but a parent/guardian with a valid ID is required to accompany their child along with their completed consent forms.

Background

The state of Florida requires students to have all of their required immunizations before school starts, which includes children entering kindergarten, and the required update before a child enters 7^th grade.

Know before you go:

• Bring your child’s most recent shot record
• Bring child’s birth certificate, passport, or other government issued ID
• Parent/guardian must bring their ID and attend event with child  
• Parent/guardian consent is required  
• Bring your own water and snacks
• No appointment needed
• No College vaccines
• No cost
