DO YOU KNOW A HERO??

February 27, 2015

In celebration of this year’s National Public Health Week, the Florida Department of Health in Orange County is accepting nominations for the 2015 PUBLIC HEALTH HERO Award.

NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH WEEK was established in 1995 as a way to recognize the contributions of public health and prevention services to America’s well-being. This weeklong event focuses public attention on the many efforts to promote and improve the health of our community.

Those efforts can be directly attributed those who have served this community and have, by their vision, dedication and talents improved the health of our residents and visitors.

It is those folks who need to be recognize as a Public Health Hero. If you know of someone, please see the instruction on the link below and submit, no later than March 16, 2015. Questions can be directed to 407-858-1461.
