The Area 7 HIV/AIDS Program at the Florida Department of Health in Orange County is excited to announce the launch of their new messaging campaign and web site.

“Talk Test Treat Central Florida” reflects Area 7’s new message of breaking down the stigma of HIV and AIDS (Talk), knowing your status (Test) and preventing the HIV virus (Treat).

Found at http://talktestcfl.com, the new web site contains information about testing, treatment, and support in Central Florida. Available in English and Spanish, the intent of the web site was to make it a one-stop shop for the community to receive crucial information about HIV prevention and care. In 2016, there were 458 newly diagnosed HIV cases in Orange County, and 4,216 people living with HIV.

Along with the Talk Test Treat messaging, the site includes an informative blog and links to local and national agencies and organizations that provide HIV/AIDS related services and information.
