Tattoo Establishment License and Tattoo Artists License Requirements 

The Florida Department of Health, in Orange County, is the local authority charged with the licensing of tattoo establishments and artists within its jurisdiction.  The Environmental Health division is responsible for conducting annual inspections and enforcement of the Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.) 64E-28 based on Florida Statues. The annual fee for a Tattoo Establishment License is $285.00 and for a Tattoo Artist License is $85.00 (Tattoo Artists must complete and return the Tattoo Artist License application annually). This program is administered by area coordinators located at County Health Departments.
