Tattoo Establishment and Artists

Environmental Health Program

The Florida Department of Health, in Orange County (DOH-Orange), is the local authority charged with the licensing of tattoo establishments and artists within its jurisdiction. 

DOH-Orange is responsible for conducting annual inspections and enforcement of the 64E-28, Florida Administrative Code.

Licensing

This program is administered by area coordinators located in county health departments of jurisdiction.

Fees

  • The annual fee for a tattoo establishment license is $285.
  • The annual fee for a tattoo artist license is $85. Tattoo artists must submit application annually.
