The goal of the School Health Services Program is to ensure that students are healthy, in school, and ready to learn. We provide services to students from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade that follow state and federal laws.
We work together with Orange County Public Schools, Florida Department of Education, and Neighborhood Center for Families to minimize health barriers for students.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Dental, vision, hearing, scoliosis, and growth and development health screenings
- Nursing assessments
- Medication administration
- Immunizations
- Student health care development plans
- Home visits
Our site provides various resources to learn more about school enrollment, immunization information, and more.

- FREE bike helmet and fitting
- FREE backpacks with school supplies
- Touch-a-truck with Orange County Fire Rescue Department fire engine
- Activities, games, giveaways, & door prizes

- Free school physicals.
- Vision and Hearing Screenings
- Exams, screenings, and referrals for glasses.
- Dental
- Basic dental services include: oral hygiene instruction.

The Global Family Welcome Center is hosting
Free Immunization Events
(for school-aged kids up to 18 years old)
Know Before You Go:
- No Cost.
- Appointments are required.
- Bring the child's recent immunization records (records from other countries or states are considered valid).
- Bring any of the following IDs for parent/guardian and children:
- Birth Certificate.
- Driver's License.
- State ID.
- Passport.
- Military ID.
- Please Note: ID cannot be expired.
- Parent/guardian with a valid ID must accompany their child (non-related adults accompanied 17 years old and younger must present a notarized letter signed by a parent/guardian).
- Parent/guardian consent is required.
