DOH-Orange Hosts Fourth Annual Maternal Child Health Summit

Orlando, Fla. The Florida Department of Health in Orange County (DOH-Orange) invites expectant mothers and parents of infants up to one year old to attend the free Maternal Child Health Summit on Saturday, October 5, 2024.  

The event will occur from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the following location:  

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel 

5780 Major Blvd.  

Orlando, FL 32819 

Pre-registration is required. Register for the summit at Mchsummitorange.eventbrite.com or by scanning the QR Code or calling 407-723-5004. Registration closes on September 30, 2024.

The summit’s workshops will cover infant CPR, breastfeeding and nutrition, safe sleep/sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), and fatherhood. This year’s theme is Welcome to ONE!, celebrating the importance of babies reaching their first birthday and beyond in hopes to improve the health and well-being of moms, babies, and families in Orange County, Florida. Attendees will receive giveaways, breakfast, lunch, health screenings, and more. Free parking is available.
