What sleep position is safest for my baby?
Always place your baby on their back to sleep every time you lay your baby to sleep.
The leading cause of death for infants 1 month to 1 year is Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUIDs). This includes sleep related deaths and SIDS. Sleep-related infant death can result from unintentional strangulation or suffocation. The best way to prevent sleep-related deaths is for all caregivers to provide a safe sleeping environment for infants.
